About Us

We are the living legacy of more than a century of grassroots advocacy, activism, hope, and progress, with deep local focus and impact in Cincinnati aligned with the breadth and power of the national NAACP organization.

Our member-activated Committees work to carry out the mission of the organization here on the ground in Hamilton County. Those teams of volunteers are how we foster positive outcomes and change when issues need to be resolved or opportunities arise. From youth and college programs and veteran services to criminal justice, education, and so much more, we work together for a safe, equitable, and prosperous future for all.

Youth & College

We help the vital youth in our community understand the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities and advance their economic, education, social and political status, and harmonious cooperation with other peoples.
