“My number one goal is to be responsive to the needs of all who reached out, and bring the tenacity it takes to remove barriers to achieving justice so that people can be heard.”

Legal Redress & Public Safety Committee Charter

The Legal Redress Committee investigates reported cases, supervises litigation of interest, and shares progress on every case with the Cincinnati Branch and the National Office. We connect to other community-based organizations who can assist the local chapter in helping those who reach out to us, and can create a pathway for up-and-coming attorneys to view community needs and develop new ways of assisting.

We’ve assisted several community members with legal representations related to real estate, juvenile, and civil rights violations.

In addition, we’ve partnered with several local organizations, including the Social Justice Center of the Southwestern Ohio Urban League, the Black Lawyers Association of Cincinnati (BLAC), The Cincinnati Black United Front (CBUF), and other local attorneys.
