Dear Esteemed Member of the Cincinnati Community,

The Cincinnati NAACP is launching a mentorship initiative specifically for junior and senior high school students in the Cincinnati metropolitan area. This program aims to connect selected students with local professionals working in their areas of interest, helping students gain valuable insights into various career paths while building connections between industry leaders and future talent. The program is named the Junior/Senior Uplifting Mentor Program (JUMP).

JUMP features four dynamic sessions where mentors and mentees will engage in discussions on professionalism, job searching, and setting both career and personal goals. Each session will include a networking lunch and interactive activities for students. To celebrate the achievements of both students and mentors, the program will conclude with an end-of-year gala. Sessions will take place every other month on the third Saturday (9/20/25, 11/15/25, 1/17/26, and 3/21/26) at the Deer Park Library, 4020 E Galbraith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236.

Prospective mentors are encouraged to fill out the Mentor Interest Form and participate in Mentor Training, which will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Deer Park Library.
